Ellesmere Port hosts coffee morning to promote Fairtrade goods
Cheshire West and Chester Council has hosted a special coffee morning at Ellesmere Port's Trinity Methodist Church with local residents to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.

Using privately owned gardens in the alley between Trinity Methodist Church and homes on Oldfield Road, the 'Incredible Edible Alleyway' project will improve a derelict area of land and grow fruit and vegetables as part of a local community initiative.

Talented 18 year old singer Chelsea Beaven beat off stiff competition to claim the top spot at the Mayor of Ellesmere Port's first 'Port's Got Talent' evening.
Chelsea, who attends a Performing Arts course at West Cheshire College and is from the Westminster area of the town sang ‘Stay’ by Rihanna and won a cash prize and the opportunity to perform at local events throughout the summer.
Parklands BMX track officially opens
A state of the art BMX track in the Parklands area of Ellesmere Port is now officially open following a special celebratory event.
The £170,000 project's completion, which has also seen major
improvement works to the green space's footpaths, is the result of
a number of years of work led by the Council's Our Place team in
partnership with Groundwork Cheshire.
