Local writer Marc Gee to share his script-writing skills at Little Sutton Library

A local writer whose script was turned into a £3m feature film will be sharing his trade secrets at a script-writing session at Little Sutton Library for Adult Learners Week.

Marc Gee has been writing for over 20 years and has penned over 12 stage plays which have been performed at such venues as The Edinburgh Festival and the Liverpool Playhouse.  In 2001 his film ‘Al’s Lads’, starring Ricky Tomlinson and Ralf Little received a BAFTA premiere at Cannes Film Festival and has been sold to 22 countries worldwide.  He is the author of two novels, ‘Autumn Kill’ and ‘Declaration of Guilt’ and is currently working on another film and two more books.

Marc will be at Little Sutton Library on Tuesday 15th May at 7.30pm for his free session which is open to everyone.

He will be giving advice to budding screen-writers and will answer questions about his writing.
