Live in the Park at Arley Hall

Live in the Park at Arley Hall and Gardens is a live music concert where you can bring your own picnic before you enjoy some live music from The Supreme Divas of Motown, Abba Forever, The Rollin' Clones, and talented young singer Tom McLeod.
Feel free to bring your own picnics, chairs and rugs, though there will also be a variety of catering outlets available on site, plus a licensed bar.
Grounds open at 5pm and the event Timetable is as follows:
- 6pm - Warm up act Tom McLeod
- 7.30pm - The Rollin' Clones
- 8.45pm - Abba Forever
- 9.50pm - The Supreme Divas of Motown
- 10.50pm - Fireworks Finale
Early bird tickets are available from the 1 February until 30 April at £19.50 for adults and £14.50 for children under 16 (under 5s go free). Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children under 16) are £58.
From 1 May adult tickets will be £22.50 and £17.50 for children under 16. Family tickets will be £70. Tickets on the day (if available) will be £24.50 for adults and £19.50 for children. Family tickets will be £80.

Frodsham Community Association Annual Downhill Run
Sunday 7 July 2013
This year the annual Frodsham Downhill Run will again take place to coincide with the Festival in the Park on 7 July.
The run will start at the Memorial on Frodsham Hill at 12.30pm and will finish in front of Castle Park House, a distance of approximately 1.3 miles.
All comers are welcome in this fun run, from under 10's to over 60's, and all runners will get a t-shirt and a certificate. Prizes will be awarded to the first home in each category of runner.
F13 Grand Prix

The first ever Frodsham soap-box Grand Prix. Home designed and built soap-boxes operated by people - power will participate in a number of races alongside wheelie bin runs, wheelbarrow dodgems and the baby buggy dash. All vehicles can be decorated and carry advertising. Local businesses will be invited to set up a stall around the track or enter a sponsored vehicle.

Wanted - running leaders for your area
You don’t need speed to lead. If you are keen to share your love of running, are supportive, patient and excited by the success of others, then you could help beginner runners to get started.
For a limited period of time and subject to terms and conditions Sport Cheshire are funding 100 per cent of your Leadership in Running Fitness Qualification.
