Joint civic reception for Witton Albion

The joint civic reception for promotion-winning Witton Albion will take place before the start of the new football season at a date still to be arranged with the club.

The decision was taken by Cheshire West and Chester and Northwich Town Councils after complications arose over choosing dates for the near future.

A spokesman for Cheshire West and Chester Council said: “We thought this would be a great way to celebrate both promotion and the start of the new season.”
