Cheshire West Pension Team scoops two national awards

Cheshire West and Chester’s Pension Team has received national recognition for their work by scooping two awards.
Presented by Professional Pensions magazine, the Cheshire Pension Fund won accolades for ‘Best Website in the Public Sector’ and ‘Best Annual Benefit Statement in the Public Sector’.
Cheshire West and Chester Council administers the Cheshire Pension Fund on behalf of 70,000 members and 90 employers throughout the north west.
Chief Executive of the authority, Steve Robinson, said: “Cheshire West and Chester Council is still a relatively young authority working to be recognised as forward-thinking and innovative with new ways of working, and our pension’s team are out there making that happen.
“Both awards placed the importance on customer satisfaction, which is at the heart of what we are working towards.
“These are two external-facing awards and I am delighted that we are doing such a great job for our customers and stakeholders and that this has been recognised by Professional Pensions Magazine.
“A big well done and thank you to the Pensions team.”
