for free and gain access to thousands of books and a large range of
CDs, DVDs, console games and talking books.You can
join online and, with your online membership, search the Cheshire West and
Chester Libraries catalogue and start reserving items
straightaway. When your items are ready for collection from your
chosen library we can send you a text to let you know. We will
issue you with a library card when you collect your items. If
you’re worried about returning your borrowed items on time, we can
send you a reminder email three days before your items are due for
return.
If you haven’t got time to go to the library you can even renew your loans online or by using the 24-hour renewal line, tel: 0845 148 0148.
Reservations at libraries across the boroughb increased by 340% in a single day on National Libraries Day in Cheshire West and Chester Libraries this year! A whopping 926 were taken on 9 February, compared with 210 the previous Saturday, not counting extra reservations taken by libraries closed on Saturdays.
